Beware the size equivalency charts when ordering this shoe online!Through trial and error I have figured out the sizing of the Bloch shoes and share it here for the benefit of other international customers like myself. First of all, the 'Bloch size' is neither a US, Australian, UK nor Euro size despite what you may be told and despite the equivalency chart on the shoe itself. Secondly, the seller does not take the sizes the shoes actually come in and standardize them to correct US sizing for filling orders, making ordering all the more challenging.In street shoes I normally wear a US or Australian 7, UK 4 1/2 or 5 and Euro 37 or 37 1/2 (sometimes shown as equating to a Euro 38). In regular US sneakers/trainers (the non-dance variety) I wear a 6 or 7.I ordered the Evolution in a US 6 but when the shoes arrived, they were clearly too small at first glance, before even attempting to try them on. Examining the equivalency size chart inside the shoe revealed the problem. The shoes were actually a Euro 35 1/2 or a UK 3, not the 37 or 37 1/2 equivalent I had tried to order. The chart on the shoe, however, indicates these are a US 6 and Bloch 6.I returned the shoe with no problem. I reordered a Bloch shoe from a UK supplier who indicated they would provide the appropriate size based on your accurate UK shoe size. I ordered the UK 5. My new Bloch dance sneakers arrived and they FIT PERFECTLY! The size indicated on the chart inside the tongue of the shoe is 'Bloch 8, US 8, UK 5, Fr 38, JP 250'. I ordered the Bloch Flash and it is very comfortable. My feet are a B width. For wider fittings I would go one size up. I use the sneakers for Zumba and do not have problems with arch support in this shoe. Some dance sneakers are designed for professional dancers who may not require as much structure but instead need flexibility and light weight - hence some of the reviews you will read online from customers buying such styles for Zumba and being disappointed. The Flash dance sneaker is perfect for fitness dance use. I suspect the Bloch Women's Evolution Dance Sneaker would have been too, had they been my size.I hope this will assist in deciding on your correct size. I would order Bloch again but would stick with styles similar to the one I had success with. If ordering in US sizing, in my case the US size on the shoe is 2 sizes higher than my usual size in US sneakers/trainers. From this seller, I would need to order a US 8 rather than US 6.
