"I love him, but he . . ." Karyn couldn't finish her sentence, so I filled in the blank for her - "I love him, but he . . . hurts me, uses me, cheats on me, doesn't care about me."
"I love him" isn't supposed to be followed up with "but he . . ." There are men, and women too, who know how to say the right words at the right times that can give us false hope, cause us to question and doubt how we feel, lead us to believe things will change. But things don't change.
